Open Exhibition Artist Talk with Nga Quynh Ngo

About this event

Join us for a series of Open Exhibition 2026 Featured Artist Talks. Nga is a visual artist with a background in graphic design. After nearly two decades working primarily in digital design, she returned to making art by hand, developing a practice centred on landscape, colour and the physical process of making. Working primarily in soft pastel and mixed media on a variety of surfaces, her work explores atmosphere, memory and a sense of place through expressive colour and mark-making. Her current practice also includes exploring traditional handmade Vietnamese papers and the possibilities their distinctive surfaces bring to her work.
