About this event

Hull & East Yorkshire Centre for the Deaf has a long history in our city, stretching even further back than the commissioning of the charity’s current home 100 years ago. Over those years they have become a safe space for Deaf people, shining a light on issues and providing support and encouragement where it is needed. This exhibition retells the story of the charity’s development and evolution to the beacon it has become, through their documentary, information boards and artefacts you can see the beauty in diversity from the Deaf community’s perspective. Entry: Free, drop-in

Organised by Hull Museums. Please check with the organiser before travelling.
