About this event
Friday 13 November, 7-9pm - preview evening • Saturday 14 November, 11am-4pm • Sunday 15 November, 11am-4pm A selling exhibition of signed original paintings and limited-edition prints by local artist Brian Boocock (1941-2024). Brian’s memorable paintings celebrate Hebden Bridge and the Calder Valley: dramatic hills, old mills, canals, town streets, familiar buildings and quieter corners of the landscape. A lifelong local artist and the creator of Hebden Bridge’s Millennial Clock, he painted the area with affection, insight and an exceptional eye for its industrial heritage. Original paintings and limited-edition prints will be available to buy. Prints start at £80 unframed and make distinctive Christmas presents for anyone with a connection to the valley. All proceeds support the Charity Trust Fund of the Rotary Club of Hebden Bridge, benefiting local community causes. (Please use the Hangingroyd Lane entrance to Northlight Art Studios for this exhibition), Arts & Crafts, Free Entry, Galleries & Museums
