About

All Saints in Ledsham has walls and a chancel arch thought to date from the 7th or 8th century, and is widely described as the oldest standing building in West Yorkshire. Look out for the tall, narrow Saxon doorway, the tower built in three periods, and the grand tombs of Dame Mary Bolles and Lady Elizabeth Hastings. The church is usually left unlocked during the day, and it pairs well with a walk to nearby Fairburn Ings.
