About
Beauchief Abbey was a Premonstratensian abbey dissolved in 1537. Its western tower survives, joined to a 17th century chapel that is still a church, with ruined walls, foundations and the old monks' fishponds nearby. Public footpaths cross the estate and the Sheffield Round Walk passes right by.
