About

The Westwood is a large open pasture on the edge of Beverley, given to the people of the town in 1380 and still grazed by cattle in summer. It is a favourite spot for families and dog walkers, with room for kites and picnics, the old Black Mill on the high ground and the ancient Burton Bushes wood in one corner. Keep dogs on leads where cattle are grazing and watch out for golfers on the course.
