About
Rotherham Bridge, also called Chantry Bridge, was built from around 1483 and is one of only four medieval bridges in England with its chapel still intact. The bridge now carries only pedestrians, so you can walk across and see the chapel up close from the riverside. The chapel was restored in 1924 and is used for services, so the inside is only open at certain times.
Opening times
- Bridge open at all times, chapel interior only open occasionally
