About

A Yorkshire Wildlife Trust reserve on the chalk cliffs of Flamborough, home to one of Europe's most important seabird colonies. Mid May to mid July is the best time for puffins, and the grassy clifftops are full of wildflowers and butterflies, with dolphins, porpoises and seals sometimes seen offshore. The coastal path is hilly and steep in places with some steps, so take care in wind and keep dogs on a lead.

Opening times

  • Open at all times. Best March to July

Times can change, so check with the venue before a special trip.
