About
Fryston Country Trails is a large green space reclaimed from the former Fryston and Wheldale collieries on the edge of Castleford. More than 8km of footpaths, bridleways and tracks wind through meadows and young woodland down to a riverside wharf on the Aire. It is good for walking, running and cycling, and dogs are welcome.
