About
An ancient plantation woodland of about 8 hectares near Oakwood, with sycamore, oak and beech, some over 400 years old. See if you can spot the D-shaped earthwork, thought to be Bronze Age or Roman, and go bug hunting in the deadwood. A wide hard path makes it suitable for pushchairs.
