About
Nearly 50 acres of woodland looked after by the Heaton Woods Trust, a volunteer charity set up in 1977 to save the woods from development. Paths follow Red Beck past Sean's Pond, carved wooden sculptures and benches, down towards the Cat Steps. Dogs must be kept on leads.
