About
The Hebble Trail follows the route of the old Halifax Branch Canal, which closed in 1942, from near Halifax town centre down to the canal basin at Salterhebble. It was turned into a nature trail by Calderdale Council, and you can still spot remains of old canal bridges beside Hebble Brook. Some parts are steep and can be slippery.
