About
Two linked Woodland Trust woods near Melbourne with broadleaved trees and marshland. They are off the beaten track, so visitor numbers stay low and wildlife interest is high. Barn owls hunt around New Covert at twilight and willow tits can sometimes be heard in the thicket between the woods.
