About
A historic tree-lined promenade along the east bank of the River Ouse, first laid out by the city in 1733 as a place to stroll. Look out for the Blue Bridge over the Foss and the Pikeing Well, a listed wellhead designed by John Carr. The flat path continues south to the Millennium Bridge, making an easy loop.
