About

The Old Church at Wentworth began in the 15th century and was later turned into a mausoleum, so today the roofless nave stands beside an intact chancel and north chapel. Inside are brasses and 16th and 17th century alabaster effigies of the Wentworth family. The path down can be slippery in wet weather and there is a short ramp into the church.
