About
A popular local Woodland Trust wood of oak, ash, cherry and willow, named in memory of the hundreds of East Yorkshire soldiers who died at the Battle of Oppy Wood in 1917. It makes a peaceful short walk on the edge of Hull. The ground can get waterlogged in wet weather, so boots are a good idea.
