About
This 120 foot Gothic tower was put up in 1865 in memory of Sir Tatton Sykes, 4th Baronet of Sledmere, paid for by public subscription. Look for the carved relief of Sir Tatton on horseback and the inscriptions around the tower. It stands beside the B1252 and is a starting point for local Wolds walks; view it from outside.
