About
A Victorian cemetery opened in 1854 on a hillside above Bradford, listed Grade II* on the Register of Parks and Gardens. Walk the long promenade for views over the city and look out for the Egyptian-style Illingworth Mausoleum and other listed monuments to mill owners and mayors. It is still a working cemetery, so please be respectful.
Opening times
- April to September 9am to 8.30pm
- October to March 9am to 4.30pm (weekends and bank holidays to 6pm)
Times can change, so check with the venue before a special trip.
