About
One of York's historic Strays, also called Low Moor, kept as open land since the days when freemen grazed cattle here. Informal paths cross the grassland, cattle still graze for part of the year, and a surfaced path links the University to the Millennium Bridge. It can be wet and muddy in winter, so boots are a good idea.
