About
A long strip of woodland on the hillside above Meanwood Beck, between Woodhouse and Headingley, set aside for leisure since at least 1846. Footpaths link a Victorian bandstand, a Second World War air raid shelter and an old packhorse bridge. It connects to the Meanwood Valley Trail and the Leeds link to the Dales Way.
