About
Beck Hole is a small hamlet of 18th century stone buildings in a wooded valley, most of them listed. It sits on the Rail Trail, the old Whitby and Pickering Railway trackbed between Goathland and Grosmont, and is a short walk from Thomason Foss waterfall. The road in is very steep, so the Rail Trail is the easier way to arrive.
