About
This 99 hectare woodland was created on the site of Brodsworth Colliery after it closed in the 1990s, and is now a mix of young woods, meadows and wetland. There are three waymarked trails of about half a mile, one mile and two miles, and kestrels are often seen hovering over the grassland. Main paths are wide crushed stone, while some woodland trails are unsurfaced and a few slopes are steep.
