Highfields Country Park near Woodlands has woodland, wildflower areas, playing fields and the historic Highfields Lake, which is popular with anglers. Nature walks run through the park, and paths lead on to Roman Ridge and Brodsworth Community Woodland if you fancy a longer outing. Parking is very limited, so the nearby Doncaster North Park and Ride is a handy alternative.
