About
The Doubler Stones are two striking outcrops on the moor above Silsden, worn into top-heavy shapes and carved with prehistoric cup marks. They are a scheduled monument and part of one of the densest areas of rock art in upland Britain. Older accounts call them a haunt of ghosts and witches; reach them on footpaths from Brunthwaite or Addingham.
