About
A set of stepping stones crosses the River Esk a short walk upstream of Lealholm's 17th century bridge. The riverside here is a lovely spot for a picnic and a stroll, and the village has a station on the Esk Valley line. Only cross when the river is low, as the water can rise quickly after rain.
Opening times
- Open at all times, avoid crossing when the river is high
Times can change, so check with the venue before a special trip.
