About
Paradise Square is a cobbled Georgian square built between 1736 and about 1790, and every building on it is Grade II* listed. John Wesley preached here in 1779 and the Chartists later held big meetings here. It is a short stroll from Sheffield Cathedral and makes a good stop on a city centre history walk.
